As Maurice Tomlinson puts it, the law is no silver bullet. However, where there is discriminatory legislation, visibility campaigns done by any minority group are at risk. It is not a secret that contact and conversation are the best ways to eradicate xenophobia, but without legislation providing a means of legal recourse, advocates are at risk. DyNAMC speaks with International renowned LGBTI Activist Maurice Tomlinson as to why changed legislation is necessary.

The HIV/AIDS epidemic has been a global problem for many decades. However, where some countries have relatively functional systems and policies in place for dealing with it, others struggle to get governments to play a deeper role in combating the problem. DyNAMC speaks to international HIV/AIDS advocate Stephen Chukwumah on his work in and outside of Nigeria.

A career law enforcement officer, Vivian Rodriguez is a native New Yorker who served for 21 years on the NYPD in riot training, the narcotics division and doing undercover work. But she's also a passionate and committed advocate for LGBT rights and shares her journey with DyNAMC.

In this episode we spoke with writer and editor, Ben Ryan, on HIV/AIDS and the different avenues to combat the epidemic.

It has long been a sad fact that there is a stigma surrounding HIV and the LGBTQI community. For activist Ben Ryan, starting the conversation to educate and inform others has been a lifelong passion to which he stays true. He told DyNAMC about his work with various foundations, AIDS drugs on the market, and changes to policy that could help to combat an ever present health problem.
